Best Buy Allocated New Xbox 360 Shipments

December 14th 2005 | Games Consoles

While Electronics Boutique and GameStop representatives are telling pre-order customers their Xbox 360 units may not come in until January or February 2006, Microsoft retail partner Best Buy confirmed it will sell additional shipments of Xbox 360 on December 18, a Best Buy representative told IGN today.

The nationwide retail chain will receive as many as 60 or as few as 20 units per store depending on location. Best Buy does not take pre-orders, so interested parties must take the strategic "stand-in-line approach" that’s marked the mixed Xbox 360 launch thus far.
