Battlefield 2 – GPU Performance

Hot on the heels of its San Andreas GPU shootout, TCMagazine takes a look at another system scorcher: the soon to be released Battlefield 2. Mainly an online game with a bot-based single player experience, EA’s sequel to the popular Battlefield is a purebred PC game which takes advantage of the day’s most advanced shading and shadowing algorithms, so much so that the recently released demo comes with a special beta release of nVidia’s Detonator series 70 drivers, version 77.30, to enable its graphics technology on the newest cards.
