An award-winning, highly-rated line of speakers…and they’re made in Canada? This just sounded too good to be true, so we had to see for ourselves! How do Axiom’s middle-of-the-line, incredibly affordable, bookshelf speakers sound?
..Selling for $330 USD, the Axiom M3ti’s held their own against Floorstanders that retailed for twice that price. An expected lack in efficiency and in deep bass are hardly a concern as those things can be remedied by simply turning the volume up, and getting a sub, or even using a much higher end amplifier with more power. I loved the mid-range handling of these speakers as there were layers of sound that I never knew about with my Klipsch.
..Am I ready to replace my Klipsch RF-15’s with a set of M3ti’s? No, I’m not. However, for the performance that you get out of these guys, and at the price they’re at, you can’t go wrong. I certainly recommend giving the Axiom M3ti’s a good audition.
