ATI X1800XT Crossfire Review

The X1800XT in Crossfire configuration is pretty much the fastest thing that’s hit our labs. There were no issues with higher resolutions and refresh rates either and everything worked and looked great at high resolutions.

Lastly, looking at the costs, the Master Card is priced at $599 from ATI which is about the same that ATI has priced for a non-Crossfire card as well. If you look hard, you’re sure to find each of these cards a good $100+ lesser than what ATI suggests. So would we recommend an X1800XT CrossFire setup at this moment? Probably not- and you’ll find out why in about two days time.
