Graphics Cards
This weekend, we’re evaluating the new Radeon X1800 XT. With the release of the new Catalyst 5.11 drivers, is the XT coming into its own against the 7800 GTX? We run the card through a punishing series of real-world gameplay tests to find out - including evaluations in FEAR, City of Villains, Quake 4 and Age of Empires 3.
There’s certainly a hell of a lot of promise in ATI’s Radeon X1800XT, and we hope that it will become readily available and competitive with the lower clocked GeForce 7800 GTX’s on price. When that happens, there shouldn’t be any negative thoughts entering your mind when you’re considering dropping your hard earned cash on one of these babies.
