The Original EeePC 701 by ASUS became one of the most popular products of last year and created an entirely new market for ultra-portable notebooks that cost less than a no-frills budget notebook. Now ASUS has introduced the next generation of EeePC models - the 900, 901 and the 1000 series. T-break reviews the EeePC 901 which, unlike the original Eee PC, can be used as your everyday laptop:
I must say that I’m quite impressed with the Eee PC 901. The original felt more like a secondary computer to me with limited appeal, however, the 901 can be used as a primary laptop. The Atom provides reasonable performance and the exceptional Battery Life on the unit lets you work on it for many hours. The bumped up screen resolution and size also allow for a much better movie-watching and web surfing experience.
