The overclocking benches show the the NForce2 chipset is a force to be reckoned with. Even with a total Mhz and Fsb deficit, it was clearly the winner over the KT400. I’d have like to have seen higher VCore and VDimm adjustments in the bios of the A7N8X, but for the hardcore overclockers, the VCore is a simple Vmod away from bringing you some truly astonishing results. Hopefully we’ll see some bios revisions that will help fine tune this motherboard to some truly extreme overclocks, if not, it’s still a board that shines where no other Socket A motherboard has. This is a feature rich motherboard that overclocks extremely well and it’s stability is unsurpassed. It’s one that has been given a permanant home in my stable, which for those that know me, is saying alot.
