The Lexar Gaming Edition flash memory cards are a competent line of products. However, you shouldn’t expect miracles as they are only performance versions of the normal MS Duo Pro and Secure Digital cards which are guaranteed to work flawlessly with gaming consoles [eg Sony PS3, Nintendo Wii].

Since incompatibilities with fast flash memory cards are not uncommon, they should provide you with an ease of mind given that you purchase them for use on the consoles they are designed for. Both cards are good performers for their kind, although the more mature Secure Digital technology easily delivers double the read speed of the MS Duo Pro and is also cheaper, making it a more logical choice if you plan to purchase a card for your Sony PS3.

Both cards are high quality and perform very well, making them an ideal accessory for your gaming console and beyond. They come recommended and both receive our DriverHeaven’s Shortlist Award.
