The Ultra MicroFly BX6 is one of the nicest cases I’ve had the chance to work with. The classy good looks, flawless finish, and small footprint will find a home in any home media center setup. Installation of components is relatively painless, with plenty of room for the necessary bits that make up a good media PC.
The inclusion of the XVS PSU is a good choice, and the modular design means you only use the cables you need, avoiding a messy build. The PSU is also a solid performer, quiet, and efficient. All’s not roses, of course. There are some sharp edges Ultra should smooth out, and the HDD cage mounting is mildly frustrating. The MicroFly is a good performer, though, so these facts are easy to overlook in the end.
Ultra has a great product here, and one that will be in use for my media center PC for some time to come.
