The blogs were agog this week after Apple seemed to accidentally announce that it was releasing an iPod with a touch screen.
However people from the Apple "press office" have rushed out of their ivory tower to deny that there will be a touch screen iPod. The official line is that the whole thing was a typo and instead of ‘touch screen’ the sentence should have said ‘touch wheel’.
