Moving on from the Butterfly theme of its BT80/90 series of CPU coolers, ZEROtherm has taken a more conventional approach with the aptly-named Zen FZ120. This new cooler features a traditional tower design with an eight-line heatpipe and 120mm fan, and supports the latest Intel and AMD CPUs:
ZEROtherm is one of those companies that I am predicting to be a major force in air-cooling in the years to come. Evidence to this is in the performance levels of the Zen ZF120. This cooler performed really well against some pretty well known coolers. And the performance to price ratio it is the winner as you will not find any other opt performers retailing for less than $40 like the Zen ZF120.
Besides the price, size and performance of the Zen we also like the mounting of the cooler as well. With its weight being an issue for some, ZEROtherm bypassed the push-pin technique and used a screw-in with back plate method. This will make your motherboard very happy as there will be very little stress on it.
