Guru of 3D reviews the AOpen Aeolus FX 5900 XT:

When I first heard of the new XT series I figured it only would be fun marketing yet what I did not expect at that time was a product of this caliber in the price range. I’m surprised by this product as it’ll give a lot of bang for your bucks ! What to say about the Aeolus 5900 XT .. three words. Value, value, value. If you were in the market for an FX 5700 Ultra, then forget about it. Spend 20 bucks more as this product justifies that price easily. The 4 extra pixel pipelines and and 256-bit memory interface compared to the GeForce FX 5700 Ultra in the same price class moves this product into the lower region of the high-end cards and it’s price is extremely competitive.

What the GeForce 4 Ti4200 was compared to the GeForce 4 Ti 4600 is this product, pure value versus really good performance. You know what’s so funny in October 2002 the GeForce 4 ti 4200 had the exact same price tag as this product. Two thumbs up and highly recommended.
