Antec; the champion of the biggest cases I’ve seen. Today, instead of their usual approach of adding centimetres, I have their Sonata III which is a more standard sized chassis toted as silent.
..I was surprised at how quiet this case really is. However, there are even more things that Antec could have done to make this even better. Foam covered side panels would absorb noise and rubber grommet’s on the 5.25” bays would stop annoying optical drive vibration.
Overall, for the small asking price of £70 [~$109.00 - $150.00], you are going to get an energy efficient power supply capable of powering most PC’s this case will house, and a quiet case with some nice tool-less design. Looking for value and silence? The Antec Sonata III continues the Sonata range with another solid design.
