Meet the Athlon64 FX-57, the fastest single core processor currently on the market. The FX-57 is more than a simple clock speed boost from the FX-55 (which itself was already the fastest gaming chip on the market), but also improves in the areas of power consumption, heat production, and memory compatibility. In addition, it also runs at the highest clock speeds of any processor which AMD has ever has ever released.
