Albatron Products Awarded Nation’s Highest Honor!

Only a year after entering the Mainboard and VGA card market, newcomer Albatron Technology surprised the industry by coming away with five awards during this year’s annual SOE (Symbol of Excellence) awards announcements. The total awards cache was second most amongst a group of seven first-time companies vying for one of Taiwan’s most prestigious awards.

The SOE awards are issued by CETRA (China External Trade Development Council) as part of a 12-year program supported by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Taiwan’s Image Enhancement Plan (IEP). These awards are given for recognition of outstanding product qualities after a rigorous screening process which evaluates R&D Innovation, Design Innovation, Quality Systems, Marketing and Brand Awareness. The products that win these awards earn the right to bear the prestigious SOE logo on its packaging and represent Taiwan as one of the top products in the country. This logo has been registered and recognized in over 90 countries around the world.

This year, Albatron was able to capture all 5 awards for each of the 5 products it submitted for evaluation this year. These products included the GeForce4 Ti Serial AGP card, PX845E (Mainboard), PX845G (Mainboard), High Definition RS-232 Multimedia Display and Plasma Display. The two Display products also garnered nominations for the upcoming National Awards of Excellence.

Albatron Technology Corp. is a Taiwan based IT solutions provider. Albatron products include several lines of Mainboards based on Intel and AMD CPUs. Its VGA cards features nVidia’s popular GPUs.
