The Fatal1ty series is Abit’s own top-tier product line, and its SLI support, unique OTES cooler, and numerous BIOS options are meant to differentiate it qualitatively from any other mobo on the market. Does the Fatal1ty AN8 SLI compare well to other, more conventionally feature-rich boards?

As it stands, the Fatal1ty AN8 SLI is a unique product well worth your consideration, even given the appearance of boards based on NVIDIA’s next-generation nForce4 SLI X16 chipset. Until such time as we see meaningful differences between the two, boards based on the slightly older nForce4 SLI chipset will remain in the running—including the Abit Fatal1ty AN8 SLI.
