ABIT reveals KN9 SLI nForce5 motherboard - pictures

May 9th 2006 | nForce 500

ABIT has spilled some beans about its next-generation Nforce 5 motherboard. The company will unveil the board around Computex time, but it looks quite finished to us.

The board is called KN9 (nForce 570 SLI MCP chipset) and it supports AMD’s upcoming socket AM2 CPUs. It also supports DDR 2 memory and it is an SLI board. The board has two PCIe 1X slots and a two in good-old PCI flavour, just enough for a PhysX and a decent Sound Blaster card. The board comes with two Network adaptors, four USB 2.0 ports a sound out and a PS2 port.
