The Abit NF-M2 nView proves that size doesn’t matter. In the performance arena (coupled with an aftermarket video card), this little board will stand shoulder to shoulder with any AM2 board out there.
For users in the market for a Home Theater PC (HTPC), the NF-M2 nView is certainly worth looking at. The low temperatures, especially when combined with a 65W AM2 processor, will make this board at home in any HTPC setting. The graphics on this board is ready to support HD-DVD and Blu-Ray with NVIDIA’s PureVideo technology making this product even more attractive. The HTPC target is where this board hit the bull’s eye.
For those not wanting endless expansion capabilities, a microATX board should be a first stop. This board, with features of some of its full-sized brethren, can be had for less than US$100. This is a terrific feature-set for that price point.
