Unlike other nForce4 (for that matter, nForce3 as well) motherboards, the northbridge is placed in a more conventional location, not under the graphics card. This allows for the use of Abit’s custom heatpipe/OTES system to draw out the heat from the northbridge to a place whereby it would be convenient to vent this excess heat. This also is not an original Abit idea, first noticed in the MSI Diamond series of boards, though the implementation in this case is much improved as you shall soon see.
Other than those two main items, the board features normal overclocking selections of HTT up to 410, vCore up to 1.75v, a whole host of memory and LDT settings to be tweaked. Not forgetting 4 SATA ports and an add-in Audiomax 8.1 Ch onboard sound card.
