ABIT AN8 32X 2 x 16 PCIe Motherboard Announced - Features New OTES

You can see in this picture here that Abit cools only the south bridge with its OTES design while its north bridge is just passively cooled. Abit samples should be available in two weeks time and guys such as Asus are already shipping these boards. We note that two times 16X PCIe won’t result in any miraculous speed upgrade but it’s better to have more speed, even if you don’t need it.

This board will anyway have very similar features and performance to the AN8-SLI motherboard but if you want the latest and greatest, then you will want to wait for the AN8 32X.
