tbreak takes a look at rev 1.2 of the ABIT NF7-S v1.2 (nForce2 SPP) benchmarked against a KT400, SiS 746FX and two nForce2 IGP boards, the EPoX EP-8RGA+ and MSI K7N2-G over at. Like Abbas asks, will ABIT ever release a MAX version of the nForce2? Here’s a snip:

Before nForce2 boards were released, there were two manufacturers that everyone had their eyes on- Abit and Epox. While we reviewed the Epox 8RGA+ a couple of days ago and were happy with it, the original version of the nForce2 by Abit disappointed some due its lack of higher voltages and other options. Today, we’ll find out if Abit went back to the drawing board and added features that one expected from their original nForce2 board.
