ABIT - ABIT NF7-S Review @ PCHardware.ro

February 11th 2003 | Hardware

CrackMaster reviews the ABIT NF7-S (nForce2 SPP/MCP-T) over at PC Hardware.ro. Lots of info snippets to be found here, including a nice little hardware compatibility table. Benchmark comparisons take a look at performance against two VIA-based boards: an ABIT AT7 Max2 (KT400) and an MSI KT7 Ultra (KT333):

There are not many areas where NF7-S can be criticized. This little Abit creation is not perfect, but all tests proved that Abit is able to keep up to the standards they imposed in the past year. My biggest question sign about Abit NF7-S was the stability in overclocking conditions. Well, I have to admit that nForce2 also contributed to my concerns about reliability. More than two hundred hours of tests revealed that there are no reasons to worry about NF7-S’ stability and overclocking capabilities. Abit NF7-S is one of the best overclockers on the market that can convince enthusiasts no matter how many onboard devices it has.

Final Mark: 23/25
