ABIT - ABIT NF7-S Rev 2.0 Review

July 2nd 2003 | Hardware

With the move to the new nForce2 revision, the ABIT line of motherboards featuring the nForce2 chipset remains essentially unchanged from previous revisions. Certainly, there are bug fixes and enhancements found with this recent release, but the product line remains the same. ABIT calls their nForce 2 Ultra 400 equipped motherboards the NF7 and the NF7-S. There is also the NF7-M that integrates GeForce4 MX video in onboard. The differences in the NF7-S and the NF7 are due to the differences in the MCP and MCP-T Southbridge controllers with added feature, Serial ATA RAID. If you want all of the bells and whistles available to the nForce2 line, the NF7-S is the only way to go.
