Overclockers New Zealand’s Hans Chang reviews the Abit NF7. If you’re looking to buy one of these boards, make sure you get hold of version 1.2.

There was lots of hype surrounding the Abit NF7 motherboard when it was first announced. However, the hype died down quite a bit when the overclockers discovered that the V1.0 board of NF7 lacks the four mounting holes around the CPU socket which prevents the installation of most high end air/water coolers. Abit gave in to the public out range and presented us with the V1.1 PCB which comes with four mounting holes. We are going to take a closer look at it in the following sections.
