3Dconnexion SpaceTraveler review

February 27th 2006 | Peripherals

In our last 3Dconnexion review, we looked at the SpacePilot, an initially-confusing but absurdly useful device perfect for doing everything from creating 3D camera work, to scaling single-handedly in multiple axes, to scrolling smoothly through a Word document. I’ve still got it on my desk. 3Dconnexion has released the SpaceTraveler—a portable version of the SpacePilot—at a cost of around half of the price of the SpacePilot.

..The SpaceTraveler really takes the SpacePilot and narrows it down to its bare functionality, and it is that core functionality that makes the device worthwhile in the first place.
